Meetings are the first Wednesday of every month

Membership:
Membership dues are due Jan 1^st . If your dues are due, they can pay dues by visiting, Edinboro Outdoors, Dobber Auto, or Hobbs Lumber. OR  They can be payed online with PayPal at EdinboroSportsmen.org.  Or if you are not comfortable with online purchases, print the member application form and mail it in.  If you are unsure of your membership status, Email the membership chairman at [email protected] He will be able to tell you what year your membership runs out.

Membership Pins:
We are holding a contest to design our 2017 membership pins.  Summit your design on a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper to �LESL, Box 45, Edinboro, Pa 16412� or e-mail to [email protected] or bring it to the January meeting for judging.  Entries can be up to 4 colors including the background color and must include the words "2017 Edinboro Sportsmen Member".  The pins will be 1 3/4" round finish size.   The winning entry will receive a free 2017 membership to the club and a $25 gift certificate to the Empty Keg. Any Questions: 882-9178.  All entries must be received by Jan 4, 2017.

Annual Game Dinner Feb 1st, 2017, Meeting Night
Our LESL annual game dinner is February 1st, meeting night.  Bring your favorite game, fish, or whatever dish to pass.  We�ve been known to enjoy some homemade beverages.    Whatever you bring, make sure you bring a good thirst and an appetite.

Winter Skeet Shooting:  
Club League Teams are forming for our interclub winter skeet league. Please sign up your team by e-mailing your member�s names to: [email protected] or dropping the names off at Hobbs Lumber. New shooters and teams are welcome. If you don�t have a full squad we will pair you up with a team. This is a handicapped league so any level of shooter is welcome. Club League shoots Tuesdays and starts January 10th. Check out the website for rules and information. 814-882-9178 for questions.

Traveling League The club is also involved in a traveling skeet league on Sundays and sign-ups are from 9AM -2 PM. Cost is $8.00 for 50 targets and a onetime $7.00 trophy fee (waved for Jr�s). Top 5 scores count so the more the merrier. Club Status and Improvements:
Thank you to Edinboro Industries for manufacturing new target bases for our rifle range. We have also added a �gong target� at the 225 yard mark and have made the range more user friendly.

Range Hours and usage:
Rifle, Handgun and Archery ranges are open for members only from 9am until � hour before sunset (yes that�s when the sun drops below the horizon) (or when the game commission says it�s sundown in the regulations book).  Remember that more than one shooter can use the range at one time, please share.   Safety First!  Shoot into the dirt backstops.  There are houses and hunters behind the ranges.  Clean up your brass and garbage, we do not hire cleaning people.  Do not shoot at glass or objects that will leave sharp remains on the ground. 

Note:  Rifle and Pistol ranges are closed during trap and skeet shooting for safety reasons.

Unsafe shooting will result in membership suspension.  State Police will be called if unsafe practices result in damage to club or neighboring properties.  Ranges and club property are under video surveillance.
